Lauber company started remanufacturing of cars’ spare parts already in 1994, as one of the first in Poland and in Central Europe. We have been widening our remanufacture range gradually, beginning with alternators and starters. Constructing a new production plant in Slupska Specjalna Strefa Ekonomiczna ( Special Economic Zone ) was a very important step in our activity. It allowed not only to improve significantly the quality and to widen our range of products, but also to increase the employment. Currently our production capacity has been adequately increasing. Actually we proudly affirm to be one of the biggest remanufacturing factories in Poland. Over the last few years our production has risen ten times, by complying with the most restrictive norms and standards applied by the world’s potentates. Our range of products of both new ones and remanufactured spare parts includes over 3000 items to all available on the market models of starters, alternators, steering racks, power steering pumps, brake calipers and windscreen engines used in the European and Japanese cars Production hall Currently among our clients there are the biggest producers and distributors of regenerated car parts in Western Europe, such as: Friesen, Eurotec, Delco Remy, Valeo, Bosch, Holger Christiansen Group, Transpo, IKA, Hans Steinkopf and over 30 companies from the country. Besides, under the agreement made with Inter Cars S.A. company in July 2003 we obtained the access to a powerful distribution system and to new groups of the potential customers within the whole Europe, for example associated in ATR. Production line Inter Cars departments, collaborating Q – services and Auto Crew located within the whole country have become the main distributing channels and for them we created the service remanufacturing programme and also a direct repurchase of the cores. A good opinion about parts remanufactured by our company allows us to prepare to further production plant’s extension, increasing employment and efforts towards the quality and widening products’ range. We invest in the development and in the future. In January 2006, in response to an increasing interest’s dynamics towards regenerated car parts and worldwide recycling tendency, we decided to activate further assembly lines, widening our products’ range by steering racks and brake calipers. At the same time turbo compressors and worm gears were introduced into the project phase. Although we obtained the quality certificate ISO 9001:2000 we still persist in working on a systematic quality improvement which today is comparable to the European market leaders’ quality. This condition could have been reached by the purchase of modern – used by the leaders – testers and equipment.. We are convinced that investments in the new products, remanufacture methods and our engagement in the human resources’ development will enable us to aim at strengthening our position as a market leader and will reflect in further dynamic development of our regeneration activity. |
